Thank you, Rolf Olson and Capital City Transfer! They came to our rescue and saved the day! We made the mistake of hiring another company, a broker, NOT a mover, who used the bait and switch tactic to lure customers. They quoted a very low price and have good answers to all your questions! In our case, after the downpayment was paid, the price almost doubled!!! Some reviews indicated there was a chance customers would have to pay more to the moving company who was contracted by this broker. We decided to cut our loses. We called Rolf with only 5 days before we had to move. Rolf was more than wonderful; he was a pleasure to work with! He was able to accomodate us and he kept us on schedule! Rolf provided free boxes, got his efficient staff to move our furniture on the appointed date and stored them safely. His staff was at our house on time, very courteous, pleasant, and handled our belongings with care. The staff who delivered our household goods in TN came on time, were efficient and nice, and everything was in perfect condition. All this service at a cost less than the other company (the broker!). Lesson learned: Do NOT ever contract with a broker. Hire Rolf and Capital City Transfer. They are professional movers you can trust! Thank you, Rolf, Josh and company!
